透過由道教資深法師李游坤主持的開光儀式，觀音與耶穌基督的神聖身分被進行交換。
在儀式中，耶穌被召請降臨並進駐觀音像之中；同時，觀音也被邀請降臨並進入耶穌像。於是，外觀看似觀音的雕像成為了耶穌，而外觀看似耶穌的形體則成為了觀音。
作品由此在可見的外在形體與不可見的神聖身分之間製造出斷裂：形體並未改變，但其所承載的神性已經被轉換。

Through a Daoist consecration ritual officiated by senior priest You-Kun Lee, the divine presences of Guanyin and Jesus Christ are ritually exchanged.
During the ceremony, Jesus is invoked to descend and inhabit the statue of Guanyin, while Guanyin is invited to enter and dwell within the figure of Jesus. As a result, the sculpture that appears to be Guanyin becomes Jesus, while the figure that appears to be Jesus becomes Guanyin.
The work creates a disjunction between visible form and spiritual identity: what is seen no longer corresponds to what is believed to inhabit the image.
